Made at the turn of the spring season, X̱á7elcha’s ever-changing landscape is captured through a cameraless process of submerging 16mm film in the water and capturing direct prints of its refractions. Each work is then processed with location-sourced plant materials and stop-bathed in river water. Because of this, the photographs are irreproducible and uniquely site and time-specific.
